The PURE Project is a part-funded European Social Funded project. This project has been brought together by Birmingham City Council and is delivered by Trident Reach.
The project will bring together a range of coordinated interventions which will assist the needs of up to 4000 vulnerable people within Birmingham. Interventions include:
• CV support
• Skills based analysis
• Access to FREE training and educational courses
• Supported job searches
• Support to access local job opportunities
• Support with completing applications
• Building confidence to become more financially independent
The PURE Project will deliver to vulnerable people aged 29 and above as well as non-active NEET (not in education, employment or training) young people with multiple and complex barriers who, as a consequence of their homelessness or other issues are distant from the labour market. This includes people who experience specific barriers as a consequence of their disabilities including mental health, learning disabilities and physical and sensory requirements, or, they are leaving prison, leaving care, recovery from substance misuse or experience of domestic violence.
Trident Reach will be working with those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across the City.
The project will assist through a series of support interventions which enable an inclusive local economy. To support these people Birmingham City Council will commission a range of activities which will build upon the existing network of providers.
Eligibility for PURE:
• Aged 29+
• Have the legal right to live in the UK/Work in an EU Member State for the duration of the project support
• Unemployed/ inactive seeking employment
• Birmingham resident
