Trident Reach's specialist Homeless Services help people break the cycle of homelessness by supporting them to become independent and to safeguard themselves from future risk.
The following homeless services are available across Birmingham with Trident Reach:
Accommodation Based Support Service
Direct Access Accommodation
Washington Court is located in Birmingham City Centre and provides 101 beds to both men (96) and women (5) experiencing homelessness. It is a direct access hostel that takes referrals at any time, with rooms offered subject to a full assessment.
The support offered addresses the underlying issues that have contributed to the individual’s homelessness, including but not limited to; mental health, drug and alcohol addiction, financial problems and criminal activity. The maximum stay at Washington Court is 12 weeks.
Our Step-Down Service offers more independence than the Direct Access Service but with the same level of support. This service aims to find suitable accommodation and to further promote independent living.
We have multiple sites across Birmingham include Mosley and Acocks Green, all of which are suitable for both men and women. The maximum stay in a Step-Down service is six months.

Floating Support Service
Our Floating Support Service provides tailored support to families, single people and people leaving prison, who are vulnerably housed or homeless.
We deliver early intervention and preventative support packages to help people whose circumstances have become difficult, as well as act as a crisis intervention service for those whose lives have become unmanageable. Our staff are specialised in dealing with complex situations and provide professional, non-judgemental support to people when they are most in need.

The Skills Hub
The Skills Hub is the new and improved Skills for Life service, funded by the BIG Lottery Fund. The Skills Hub offers a professional and beneficiary-focused service that targets disadvantaged people in Birmingham. It creates a platform of learning, skills training and personal development that enables sustained progression to an independent life.
The Skills Hub delivers in six key areas: life skills training, seeking employment skills, careers-based volunteering, IT skills, healthy living and Employment & Development Level 1 Award.
The aim of The Skills Hub is to successfully integrate people experiencing homelessness back into society through improving and developing life skills and employability of our beneficiaries.
